High-rise dwellings have long established an enviable penthouse environment for a few elite residents. The penthouse combined with a courtyard, or “Courtyard pentHouses,” could produce high-rise courtyard houses that would be very desirable at the top floor of a high-rise. It would feature a private outdoor living garden space to serve in an appropriate mix of structure, function, and privacy.
