String constructions enable creation of artistic engineering forms which inspire the search for architectural form and allow discovering unusual shapes of buildings. The main thesis of the presentation has been based on a statement that elements of string structures which are responsible for static of the objects are not only construction base wall, but on the contrary, they play a role in determining the shape of architecture. Mario Salvadori states that structure can exist without architecture, giving machines as examples but architecture cannot exist without structure. The idea of bearing structure creates the constructional form of a building. The character of cooperation between bearing elements results in its static advantages. The form of string constructions results from a suitable play of forces supported on a set of piles, pylons, masts, arches and cables and lines, which together carry gangways and roofs and at the same time allow to solve problems of span, height and width. The form of string construction which aims at proper static of a building, inspires the structural form which is seen as particular kind of piece of art of designing and architectural composing. Construction elements included in architectural order of things inspire the form of objects of string structure and determine relations with the environment.
